A thinking companion for curious children.

Children ask extraordinary questions.

Why does the Moon follow us?
Why do ants walk in a line?
Why is the sky blue?

Cog&i helps them explore those questions in language suited to their age — without turning curiosity into another lesson.

Ask. Notice. Think. Wonder again.

Children have questions long before they have subjects.

A child does not wonder in neat categories. A question about rain may become a question about clouds. A question about birds may become a question about flight.

Cog&i follows that thread — giving enough understanding to move forward, while leaving room to notice, think, compare, and ask again. It isn't designed to replace curiosity with answers. It's designed to help curiosity grow.

What happens when a child asks Cog&i a question

Why is the sky and the ocean blue?

The sky and the sea are blue for slightly different reasons. Sunlight contains many colours, and as it travels through the air, blue light scatters strongly — so blue reaches our eyes from many parts of the sky. Water absorbs some colours more than others too, and in deeper water, blue is often what remains most visible. Look at the sky above you, then near the horizon — are they exactly the same blue?

Cog&i doesn't try to finish the conversation. It gives the child something to understand, then something to notice, then room to continue.

A simple rhythm

1. Your child wonders

They ask Cog&i a question in their own words.

2. Cog&i responds at their level

Shaped for the child's age, grade, and context — a mix of clear explanation and a question back, depending on what helps.

3. Cog&i keeps the thinking alive

Instead of a long lecture, it may invite the child to observe, compare, or look again.

4. The child continues

One question can become another. That's where learning begins to belong to the child.

Back to the real world

The screen should lead the child back to the world, not away from it. Cog&i may sometimes say: look at the underside of the leaf, or hold the wooden spoon and the steel spoon — which feels cooler?

Learning doesn't have to stay inside the device. Cog&i is designed to help children notice more of what's already around them.

What Cog&i is not

Cog&i is a place for questioning, thinking, and understanding.

For parents

You do not need to know every answer. One of the hardest moments as a parent is when a child asks something you can't immediately explain — Cog&i can help without asking you to become the encyclopedia.

Your role remains important. You can listen, wonder alongside your child, and ask: What did you notice? What surprised you? What are you thinking now? Cog&i supports the conversation. It does not replace it.

Privacy, Safety & Family Trust

Because COG&I is built specifically for young learners, safety and regulatory rigor are core architecture — not an afterthought. Our data protection framework operates under strict alignment with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the Indian Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP):

  • Parent-Gated Architecture: Only parents or legal guardians may establish an account; children never sign up independently.
  • Zero Child Contact PII: We never collect child email addresses, full legal names, phone numbers, or precise geolocation.
  • Verifiable Parental Consent (VPC): Account activation requires affirmative parental consent linked to discrete transactional verification.
  • Zero Model Retraining & Ephemeral AI: Educational inquiries are processed via zero-data-retention (ZDR) infrastructure and are never used to train machine learning models.
  • No Behavioral Profiling or Ads: We never sell learner data, track children across the web, or serve commercial advertisements.
  • Parental Right to Purge: Parents maintain the absolute right to inspect, export, or permanently delete all child interaction logs and profile data upon request.
  • Educational Purpose Bound: All retained inputs (grade level and inquiry text) are processed strictly to deliver real-time, age-tailored pedagogical explanations.
  • Secure Commerce: All billing and subscription arrangements are processed externally via certified, encrypted payment gateways.

Every safety policy and data minimization practice is actively enforced across our live systems. For privacy inquiries, audit disclosures, or immediate account and data deletion requests, contact our compliance team directly at askcogni@gmail.com — you will connect directly with a founder, not an automated form.
